Download Buddy frees you and your computer from stress while downloading large numbers of files from the Internet. Downloading takes place with only a few concurrent sessions at the same time, preventing all kind of nasty issues.
Select the files you want to download. Right-click with your mouse and choose 'Add to Download Buddy'. That's all it takes to add files to the download queue. Alternatively, you can use copy and paste to add files to the queue.
Download Buddy gives you full control of your downloads. You can pause, resume, cancel, restart, delete and reorder them, configure the number of concurrent download sessions and the location where you want to store the completed downloads.
Download Buddy is a sophisticated native download manager for OS X specialized in dealing with multipart downloads. It supports everything you need for stress less and reliable downloading and does not disturb you with useless nonsense and meaningless features.

The new Net Radar Add-on monitors in the background the existence and correct working of a VPN connection. Download Buddy will automatically stop all downloads when Net Radar detects a non-working VPN connection. The Net Radar Add-on is available as In-app purchase.
While downloading you can close the main form and let the app run in the background. When all downloads are finished you will see a notification banner. Clicking on it will activate Download Buddy for easy access to your downloaded files.
The History view gives you a detailed look on your downloaded files. It provides info on the start and end time, the average download speed and the current status. Use the Share menu to share the URL’s of all files or just a selection with your friends.
The settings of Download Buddy can be configured by use of the Preferences panel. An extensive built-in help system helps you understand the implications of all settings.
